William Parr was a player with the Admiral's men in 1602. According to the plot of "1 Tamar Cham," he played "a nobleman, a scout, an attendant, a trumpet, a guard, and a Bohar" (Nungezer, p. 265). He continued with players from the Admiral's men as the company acquired the patronage of Prince Henry in 1603, continuing with this company when it became the company of Palsgrave's men following the untimely death of the prince in November 1612.
