Category:Anthony Munday
Anthony Munday was a prolific playwright in the early modern period. A few years older than Shakespeare, he was more a free-lance dramatist than company-affiliated, though there was a period in the last decade of Elizabeth's reign when he collaborated often with other dramatists on plays for the Admiral's men. He also authored civic shows. If he wrote for the Chamberlain's men, the evidence of that connection is lost.
