Tom Rutter is Senior Lecturer in Renaissance Literature at Sheffield Hallam University, and the author of Work and Play on the Shakespearean Stage (Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2008). He has published articles on early modern drama in journals including Medieval and Renaissance Drama in England, Studies in English Literature, and Shakespeare Bulletin, and is an editor of the journal Shakespeare.
