William Boyle, not otherwise known in theatrical records, offered a script of Jugurtha to the Admiral's men in February 1600, by way of William Bird. Bentley, JCS dismissed the suggestion of Fleay, BCED (1.33) that "Boyle" was a fake name for Bird as "one of his most irresponsible (3.36).
