John Bentley (c. 1553- 1585) was a member of the original company of Queen's men in 1583. He was one of the players in the Affray at Norwich in 1583 who chased the gate-crasher down the street and who might have delivered the fatal blow to the gate-crasher's servant in the mayhem that ensued.
