Ben Jonson was one of the most prolific and prominent playwrights and poets in the early modern English period. Many of his plays were printed, but (sadly) he did not include in his 1616 folio collection of works about a half dozen plays that he worked on (primarily in the Henslowe years) and several entertainments. See 'Dramatists, Ben Jonson' for a list of those lost dramatic projects.
