The 'Office-Book' of Sir Henry Herbert, Master of the Revels. In a note for August 1641, Herbert records, ‘Youths Figaries all[owe]d upon several reformations and not otherwise’ (209). The most recent editor of the Office-Book, N. W. Bawcutt, describes it as a lost play.

Critical Commentary

Youth's Vagaries is not in fact a lost play, but an alternative title for Thomas Jordan's The Walks of Islington and Hogsdon. This point is made in Jordan's Oxford DNB entry, and in Bancroft's note.
