Throughout his transcription, Freeman gives "Phlexippus." The MS, however, seems clearly to read "Plexippus," and nothing (to my eye) distinguishes its initial majuscule from what Freeman elsewhere interprets simply as "P." Is anyone aware of a convention by which majuscule "P" should be interpreted as a brevigraph for "Ph"?
