Laurence Dutton (brother of John) was a player with Sir Robert Lane's men (1571-2), Clinton's men (1572-5), Warwick's men (1575-80, Oxford's Men (1580+), and the Queen's men (by 1589). In the 1570s he was a payee (along with his brother and Jerome Savage) for court performances by Warwick's men. He most likely moved with that company to the playhouse at Newington in the late 1570s.

In the 1570s he was a payee (along with his brother and Jerome Savage) for court performances by Warwick's men. He most likely moved with that company to the playhouse at Newington in the late 1570s.
