Matthew Steggle is Professor of English at Sheffield Hallam University. His research encompasses early modern drama, especially Caroline drama; and digital humanities, broadly defined. His publications include Richard Brome: Place and Politics on the Caroline Stage (2004) and Laughing and Weeping in Early Modern Theatres (2007).
