Kirk Melnikoff is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is the author of Elizabethan Book Trade Publishing and the Makings of Literary Culture (University of Toronto Press, 2018) and has edited four collections: Christopher Marlowe, Theatrical Commerce, and the Book Trade (Cambridge University Press, 2018 [with Roslyn L. Knutson]); Edward II: A Critical Reader (Arden, 2017); Robert Greene (Ashgate, 2011); andWriting Robert Greene (Ashgate, 2008 [with Edward Gieskes]). He is a 2013 winner of the Hoffman Prize for Distinguished Publication on Christopher Marlowe, and his essays have appeared in numerous journals and collections.
