"The only evidence for the existence of a play of this name is Marriott's entry in the Stationers' Register" (Bentley, 5.1383).

The title is paradoxical. One example of "noble ravishers" might be the story of the Rape of the Sabine Women, but it doesn't follow that the play was about that story.
