Currently James G. Watson Prof. & department chair of English at U. of Tulsa. Shakespearean Pragmatism: Market of His Time; coeditor, English Renaissance Drama: A Norton Anthology; many articles and reviews on early modern drama & poetry and on contemporary South African fiction. Active in Shakespeare Association of America.
