Richard Jones worked as a printer and bookseller in London between 1564 and 1613. During this time, he published a number of ballads, chivalric manuals, poetry collections, and popular pamphlets. He is perhaps best known for publishing Isabella Whitney's two play volumes (in the latter, she refers to him as "my Printer" [sig. C6v]) and both parts of Christopher Marlowe's Tamburlaine.
