Mark Hutchings is Lecturer in English at the University of Reading (UK), specialising in early modern drama in performance and theatre history. Current projects include Anglo-Spanish relations and the theatricality of diplomacy (with Berta Cano-Echevarría, Universidad de Valladolid), a book on early modern repertories, and a collection of essays on The Changeling. Co-author (with Tony Bromham) of Middleton and his Collaborators (2008), guest editor of a special issue ("Shakespeare and Islam") of the journal Shakespeare (2008), member of the editorial board for Sederi, and author or co-author of a number of essays on early modern drama.
