Laurence Dutton (brother of John) was a player with Sir Robert Lane's men (1571-2), Clinton's men (1572-5), Warwick's men (1575-80, Oxford's Men (1580+), and the Queen's men (by 1589). In the 1570s he was a payee (along with his brother and Jerome Savage) for court performances by Warwick's men. He most likely moved with that company to the playhouse at Newington in the late 1570s.
